The main issue with decentralization is that it relies on a community to be fully involved and active in providing various servers across the globe to create a truly decentralized network.
RPC servers are a crux of the blockchain industry and for full decentralization, a network relies on volunteers to run RPC servers to ensure there is no single weak point in the integral part of the network.
